Walter Girl B's Room of Scientific Discovery and Kitty-Cat Cuteness

The room that Brianna has taken within the boarding house is a smallish bedroom located on the second floor, tucked out of sight and generally unnoticed by all. She keeps it tidy at all times, as Brianna prefers to keep things in their proper places, but with a happy cat bounding from here to there at times, it can sometimes get a little out of sorts.
Though Brianna can often be found more down in the workshop or attending to the automatons she's been charged with taking care of, there are moments of downtime in which she can be tracked down her lonely little room.

However, he couldn't help but steal another kiss from those smiling blue lips after she had settled, letting it linger for a moment or two before he stood back straight with a smile of his own.
"Look forward to another one sometime," even if it didn't end like this one. It took a bit before he actually left her room as well with a goodnight, door closed behind him again.

Oh, not even a step away from the Walter Girl's door and there was a curious Rabbit standing there, confronting his brother while giving a curious peer upwards.
The Spine just looked way too damn smiley. Not to mention the grass that hadn't been brushed away from the back of his clothing and the way B had looked when she'd arrived back home in his arms. The grass stains, the blushing, the coziness.
That was no normal date. "Whatcha d-d-do? I want th' details, Spine!"

Did that smile of his just turn a little smugger? Just by a twitch at the corner of his mouth tugging once side of those black tinted lips a little higher on the side. It might have. "Just had a really nice date out with Brianna. That's all Rabbit.
"Ain't nothin' else you need to know." Already heading for the stairs to go up to his room, whisps of steam curling from vents.
no subject
Nope! Not going anywhere until you spill the details.
"Yer hidin' stuff from me! Yer big brother! After everythin' I've ever d-d-d-d-dd-done t' help ya!" Tug tug tug.
"C'mon, at least whisper t' me." .../Ya can even just tell me over wifi, I promise I won't t-tell anyone!/

His brother would find himself tugged close if he wasn't going to let go, hauling him right up those stairs with him. This mood was just too good to get irritated, which was something pretty damn new. Wasn't it?
Just a little dancing, huh. "Real nice evenin' out without any trouble." Details without the detail.

Rabbit shot The Spine a scandalized look the moment they mounted the final step.
"Ya g-g-got laid, didn't you?!" Oops, use your indoor voice, Rabbit, everyone on the second floor probably heard that.
no subject
"G'night, Rabbit."
Off he went for his room, that smile not one faltering.
no subject
"Ya c-c-can't just walk away from me, ya big jerk! T-t-tell me! S-Spine? Hey Spine?!"
Oh, this meant war.

Called from near his door-- that could almost be taken for an invitation to invade his space, couldn't it? Rabbit could have his tantrum, though. He'd just had a very wonderful night with a very special woman that he loved.

A beat passed, those ancient processors of Rabbit's whirrrrring in struggle to keep up.
But then there was a shuffling of heavy feet as the copper 'bot rushed across the hallway to slip into his brother's room--That had been an invitation, right?--kicking the door shut behind him before those blue and green glowing lights were focused on The Spine.
"That mean ya gonna spill?"
no subject
"Y'know it ain't proper to kiss and tell, Rabbit." That smug grin was still there, even as Spine set his hat over the post at the foot of the bed, vest being unbuttoned before he sat back in his arm chair. The automaton looked far more relaxed than ever. "No details, but it's a date I'm gonna remember for a real long time."
Dear robut lord, help us.

The Spine was getting a brotherly pat on the shoulder for that affirmation, Rabbit clanking forward to close that distance and stand there beside his seated brother, his look of blank confusion slipping away to a more prideful sort of crook to that lopsided mouth. Big brother was proud. So very proud.
"Ah, real good date, huh? An' ya, uh, had lots o' fun, did ya?"
Because really, as much as Rabbit did love to torment and tease his brother, nothing made the 'bot happier than to see the positive effects a reliable lady in his life was having upon him. He was so genuinely happy for once, something that had been such a rarity before, far less easy to rouse to anger, so much more relaxed and just pleasant to converse and joke around with.
It was nice to see. The Spine deserved this happiness and even if he was snooping like he always did, part of it was only because Rabbit was so interested in knowing more of how this change had come about.

"Real good," Someone was actually relaxing back into that chair of his, hands rested there on the armrest as his vest had been removed and just set on the nearby desk to take care of later, "and the both of us had a lot of fun, yes."
Ohohohoho~

Despite how love obsessed the copper 'bot may have seemed over the last century, he had always teased his brother for his ridiculous obsession in wanting to be loved and in a committed relationship with a human woman. But now, after seven months with Alyss, Rabbit couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to wake up and not have her snuggled there cutely at his side. Maybe The Spine had been right all along on that one.
For once, the two elder Walters were both so very happy in love and they each had a special woman to thank because of it.
"Ya surprised me, Spine. Guess I might'a been wrong." An admittance of himself being wrong? Dear Robot Lord, something must have been in the water. "Ya really didn't need my advice in th' first place, huh? Showed Miss B a n-n-nice time all on yer own." A real nice time judging by the sound of it.
no subject
Only took about 117 years and being taken to another dimension in a place that allowed for multiple counterparts of the same person for them to get those special women.
Who'd have thought?
"She surprised me too, Rabbit." That was a puff of steam from between his lips, head tilted back and shutters closed, "Brianna is the one who... brought up the subject." That had really surprised him.
no subject
"Ya d-don't say, huh?" Alyss had been spot on in her assumption of what the Walter Girl would do, huh? "Y'know, Miss B came t' have a little chat with Alice not so long ago…"
no subject
His head tilted, giving Rabbit a bit of a look, one brow raised a little, "Did she?" Wow, he was still in too good of a mood to be bothered. It wasn't strange for those two to talk these days.
no subject
"Yeah, g-guess she might'a had a question or two for Alice 'bout th' whole-" Copper claws wiggling vaguely in the air between them. "-Human/robut relationship thing. But from what I got out o' it, she was mostly lookin' for advice."
no subject
"... Well, guess Alice would be the one who'd know a thing or two. You and her have been together a pretty long while already."
no subject
A shrug of crooked shoulders there, so very casual about it. "Guess so-" Rabbit really hadn't realized just how long that was. "But I guess Miss B must'a l-l-liked what she heard if she pounced ya so soon after." A bit of a grin, "Alice did t-t-tell her just how talented us musicians are with our fingers."
no subject
Talented fingers; that might have been a slight sputtering of steam at that, giving Rabbit a bit of a side-long look. "I'm sure that she did." Wasn't his fingers that B got to experience the talent of.
no subject
....What the hell.
no subject
Good job, Rabbit.
no subject
Good job, him.
"...Guess not."
no subject
Seven months.
"You doin' alright there, buddy?"
